The fibers for this upholstery material are obtained from PET bottles that are no longer needed. The recycled material is collected, cleaned, melted and spun out again into new yarns. This creates a high-quality fiber that is processed into a soft fabric.
The Recycled Velvet item is also specially equipped so that stains can be removed using just water and a cloth. In addition, this material is very popular with animal lovers. This velvet fabric is designed to be particularly scratch-resistant and therefore very suitable for living with pets. This fabric is certified according to OekoTex Standard 100.
The recycled velvet item is used for upholstering furniture or for sewing cushions and decorations.

For many of our fabrics, cleaning with a brush and a wet cloth is sufficient due to the special textile treatment. It is also suitable to air the textiles. Any cleaning that you do not use the washing machine protects the environment and your fabric.
When cleaning in the washing machine, please note the temperature information in the respective item description. Please wash the fabric on a gentle cycle with the lowest spin speed possible.
We recommend not putting the fabrics in the dryer in order to preserve the high quality and appearance for a long time.
