Cotton Damask is one of an exceptional range of contemporary damask & stripe fabrics woven in one of the last remaining silk mills and dyeworks in the UK . These finest fabrics are rich in tradition, woven using classic production techniques and from 100% natural fibres.

This fine damask is inspired by an English design from the early 18th century. The woven pattern of fine cotton and linen is taken from an embossed wall damask found in the King's Closet. The basis of the weave is a cotton ottoman structure. Linen runs through the design as a weft thread, creating a fabric with a raised texture and grain that gives a traditional feel.

Available in four color variations: Stockholm Blue, Evergreen, Gold and Venetian Red.

This fabric is suitable for making cushions, curtains and blinds.

Please note the corresponding care instructions for the respective items. Our items should be treated gently.

For many of our fabrics, cleaning with a brush and a wet cloth is sufficient due to the special textile treatment. It is also suitable to air the textiles. Any cleaning that you do not use the washing machine protects the environment and your fabric.

When cleaning in the washing machine, please note the temperature information in the respective item description. Please wash the fabric on a gentle cycle with the lowest spin speed possible.

We recommend not putting the fabrics in the dryer in order to preserve the high quality and appearance for a long time.
